I would like support for an official in-game Zwift jersey for participants of the annual Air Force Heritage Memorial to Memorial (M2M) Ride.
The 2026 M2M Ride takes place September 10–13. Participants cycle from the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina to the Air Force Memorial in Arlington, Virginia. The route passes through Chesapeake, Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Washington, DC, culminating in closing ceremonies at the Air Force Memorial. This will the event’s fifth year and it grows exponentially. In 2022, there were 63 cyclists, and last year there were 273. This year we have 325 registered riders so far.
The purpose of the M2M Ride is threefold:
• Celebrate United States Air Force/Space Force heritage
• Promote fitness and recruiting
• Support wounded Airmen and Guardians through the Wounded Airman and Guardian Program
The ride is hosted by the Air Force Cycling Team (AFCT) in partnership with the Air and Space Forces Association (AFA) and the Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS). Participants include active duty members, veterans, families, and supporters who train year-round, many of whom rely on Zwift for structured indoor preparation.
A custom Zwift jersey would materially strengthen the impact of this event:
First, visibility. Zwift’s global platform would expand awareness of the mission to support wounded Airmen and Guardians far beyond the physical ride corridor.
Second, cohesion. Riders are geographically dispersed and train remotely. A shared in-game kit would unify preparation efforts and reinforce identity before, during, and after the September event.
Third, recruitment and growth. Distinctive jerseys generate conversation on Zwift. That visibility supports both event participation and broader awareness of Air Force heritage and service.
Fourth, year-round representation. While the ride spans four days, the mission extends throughout the year. A Zwift jersey allows participants to carry that message consistently.
Additional information about the ride is available at M2Mride .com.
If you build a club with sufficient membership (I think 250+ but don’t quote me on that) you have a chance of getting custom kit for it, but probably not before that.
In the mean time you could do a USMES group ride to get their kit. @Tamara_Christina could tell you more about that if you’re interested.
I would support it, but you won’t get one without a significant amount of club members and running regular events with minimum number of participants.
If that standard was applied to existing club jerseys a lot of them would probably not exist.
Good luck, but I don’t think it will happen. I asked about getting a jersey for a well known real world club and that was the answer we got.
Thanks @Paul_Southworth
@_Timo.Blaze in order to get a kit on Zwift there is a lengthy process. Forming a club, having so many club members but also group rides with so many starters. Then the wait period for art department and release with an update. That would be impossible before your ride. Any of you are welcome to join a US Military eSports (USMeS) ride and this will get you our kit. You can join the Zwift club by searching US Military eSports in All Clubs and we have rides every day of the week.
