Crashing when starting app on PC

I last rode with this win 7 pc in 2017. When I tried to update and start the app, it keeps crashing. Tried rebooting. Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it’s still crashing on startup.

It gets to the opening splash screen and when i click on the orange “lets go” button is when the crash occurs.

Any ideas of what I might try? I’ve looked in the log files and don’t see anything in there that clearly points me to what’s going wrong.

Can you post the specs of your PC including the video card.

Here is a link to the minimum requirements: https://support.zwift.com/en_us/what-are-the-minimum-device-requirements-for-zwift-B1P10kWrQ

Win 7 Professional 64 bit
Processor: Core i7-6600U CPU @ 2.6 GHz 2.8 GHz
Ram: 16 gb
Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics 250, 4 GB

Can you check the graphics card again, I don’t think there isn’t an Intel HD 250 4GB. You can use this program: CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID

It says the Intel HD Graphics 520 revision 7

Sorry, must have inverted the 520 into 250 when I ran dxdiag.

Ok, the HD 520 does meet the minimum (just barely). Have you updated the driver?

You could also try forcing Windowed Mode: Zwift Community KB | Zwift is stuck in full-screen mode, how do I go back to "windowed" or vice-versa?

Thank you, it appears like it was the driver.

Hopefully I’ll confirm this when I ride in a few hours, but the game launches now instead of crashing.

Hi, I am having the same issue. Could you check my graphics card to see if it is good enough.

Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1) is all the info I could find out about it.

Cheers,
