Connection issues Tickr and Companion

Hi,
I am struggling to use the Companion app as a bridge.

Everything has worked fine since I started using Zwift and Zwift Companion, but connecting a new Wahoo Tickr fit heart rate monitor has so far been not possible. The screen picture shows that my Zwift Click is connected, but it is constantly scanning for other hardware, it does not find the Tickr Fit.

I believe I have disconnected the Tickr Fit from the Zwift app and other bluetooth devices, I have also deleted the apps and reinstalled them.

Since I am using my phone as my “Main item” and AppleTV (max 2 bluetooth connections) I need to use the Companion app as a bridge.
What have I missed? Any suggestions?

Your Tickr won’t show up in that Zwift Hardware section, since it’s not a Zwift-made piece of hardware. That section is for updating firmware on Zwift Play, Zwift Click, Zwift Ride and Zwift Hub.

Thank you for your quick reply.

My understanding is that the heart rate will not be visible during exercises in the Zwift app itself, I need to use the heart rate device through my Garmin watch, Strava etc. Am I right?

You missed the “PAIR THROUGH PHONE” button at top left that turns on Zwift Companion connection bridging via Bluetooth.

Hi @Havard_Kjeldstad welcome to Zwift forums.

Please see this helpful article which will walk you through the steps.
