Computrainer not found in new Pairing Screen [Sept 2025]

Have you tried the steps suggested in this post above?

Hi Rowdy. the latest update broke the fix. When I get on Zwift, it finds my computrainer and then immediately disconnects it. The drivers have not changed, it’s on your end this time.

Seeing the same thing today after zwift was updated to 1.105.3. Appears to find the computrainer for a second and then losses it.

Yes I see exact same thing

I also saw the workaround, but this also is not a true fix because it has little micro and mini disconnection during the ride so is there some sort of permanent fix for this?

Been having the same issue. Too bad Zwift is not supporting us here. I have the proper drivers. Computrainer signal is picked up for about a seconds and then drops. I’m only able to pair my cadence sensor. Any ideas on a fix?

have you gotten any more feedback on this issue??

None. Zwift is pretending the problem doesn’t exist. They sent me an email saying it’s the drivers, but it isn’t because the Computrainer is recognized and even works for about 10 seconds before it disconnects. Zwift is hoping Computrainer owners will just go away.

That’s unfortunate - @zwiftsupport can you provide some feedback on these issues

I figured out a solution that will keep your computrainer. I tested it out with another friend as well.

You’ll need ant+ (I used 2) and download PerfPro CT to turn your computrainer wireless.

If there is enough interest I will provide guide.

I had it working by rolling back to the 36.4 version last year. I’ve been struggling get everything connected, and stay connected, ever since. I most recently tried the 36.4u driver and that looked like it was going to work, until it didn’t. That’s where I saw Tim Clark’s post about the frustration about the discontinuation of support for Computrainers. Zwift let me get charged for another month without informing me it would no longer work. I guess I will cancel my membership too. Not sure I am ready to spring the money for it yet, but does anyone have a recommendation on newer smart trainers that Zwift does support, and plans to continue to support?

Thank you,

Rick

See the update on the topic for this problem…

I hope they fix it for you ASAP.

If you do shop for a trainer and you don’t want to spend a lot on a premium model, the Kickr Core and Jetblack Victory are worth a look. Any trainer that supports Bluetooth FTMS is going to work with Zwift long term but I would stick with the most popular manufacturers. There are a few hundred Computrainer users on Zwift. There are many many thousands of users of Wahoo, Tacx, and Elite. That is a good place to be if you want long term compatibility.

I just went through this to connect the CompuTrainer to My Whoosh. It was a bit of a convoluted process where I start MyWhoosh first, and then start Perfpro CT before the pairing screen. Would that be similar for Zwift? So yes, I would be interested in a guide.

Have you tried using it with no workarounds since this update?
