Companion App not connecting

I’ve done three ride this week. On Wednesday it was working fine, yesterday I couldn’t get Companion to link to the PC. Same today.

I rebooted the PC, and the Android phone. They are on the same WiFi network.

Companion would kindly tell me that my character was riding: “Zwifting now” I just couldn’t do anything

The only other thing I can think of was one day this week (they all run together) Zwift on the PC asked me to log in again. I don’t know why.

As I’m thinking about it now, the only thing I haven’t tried is logging out of both and logging back in. Anything else?

Happens often to me.

The only trick is to restart the wifi router.
After 1 or 2 weeks, my companion app is on wifi but won’t get in the “ingame” mode so I have to restart router and it does sort the issue for me.

Only time I’ve seen this is when I’ve been on 2 different SSIDs on the same network (one on Guest for reasons, one on “main” WiFi). I think your turning it off and on again is probably a good idea though!

Happens to me regularly, only solution I’ve found is to turn the data off on my phone. That forces my phone to use wifi and it seems to work.
