Companion App (Android) and TreadTracker

Best I can tell, this issue began with the 9/30 update to ZCA (Android). The app will find the TreadTracker but never displays or transmits a speed to the desktop app (Win10). I’ve tried a Pixel 2 as well as a Samsung S6 with the same result. The iOS version of ZCA and the beta version of the Android Zwift app all pick up the speed as expected. I’ve also used the Android Wahoo Fitness Utility to verify that the TreadTracker is working properly.

Any suggestions?

Investigating, thanks for the heads up :ride_on:

Edit: @Emmett_Pate did you try using the iOS version of ZCA with your windows version of Zwift?

Yes, the iOS version of ZCA works as expected. The Android (beta) version of the full Zwift App seems to be a bit troublesome to get it to pair, but once it does, the speed displays correctly. I’ll run through the various scenarios this afternoon just to make sure I’m describing the issues accurately.

  • Android 9, Pixel 2, updated 10/18: pairs but no speed
  • Android 7, Galaxy S6, updated 10/18: pairs but no speed

Zwift App

  • iOS, version 1.0.30934: works
  • Android 9, Pixel 2, updated 10/17: works
  • Android 7, Galaxy S6, updated 10/17: works
