On a 3 min break, you are only talking about a mile. Its really not that much of a bonus for either XP pts or overall distance. And the way Zwift made leveling up so easy, that free 32 xp pts is meaningless. As i dont see them fixing this in the next 12 hours, i think im going to ride fulgaz tomorrow instead. Or maybe try bkool. I have the gpx file for my A race this year and i hear i can upload it and ride it. Sounds like the right weekend to try it out.

Maybe they deliberately broke the coffee stop to encourage people to do zwift games events instead

Itā€™s not that simple in a huge international group, with the associated language barriers.

On the BMTR 100 mile D ride, we do just that. We returned to having 2x5min breaks that we did before Coffee breaks existed instead of just one when they worked.

Itā€™s been broken for at least 8 days since the last update. Shouldnā€™t they have been able to fix it by now? It is remarkable how quickly we come to depend on something that hadnā€™t been available until fairly recently.

The normal release cadence is two weeks, so a fix that depends on a game release, and isnā€™t an emergency, takes at least two weeks (assuming they have developed a fix for it).

Coffee break if the best thing happen in zwift for meā€¦ and I was informed its no longer available in group ridesā€¦I was so frustrated ā€¦

I agree that this isnā€™t an emergency, but for such a good and often used feature of the game, I would have loved to have seen the fix implemented ASAP. Having the coffee stop be broken over two weekends has had a significant effect on many peopleā€™s rides.

Coffee shop is still unavailable - surely there is a simple fix? (unfortunately there continues to be glitches with updates).

UPDATE March 4
Good news everyone: the fix for this issue will be in Zwift game version 1.60. Phased rollout begins tomorrow.

Hi everyone - this issue has been fixed in game verion 1.60 which begins phased rollout today. Please update when itā€™s available to your Zwifting computer.

Hello - the issue still appears to be happening. Was prompted to update to 1.60 and getting the Coffee Stop Unavailable error on a group ride (DIRT FV ride). Running on Mac OS.

Good morning. As of last night, the Coffee Stop issue was still occurring in a group ride (DIRT Family Values ride). Updated to 1.60 and running Mac OS.

Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Can you provide more context? Are you saying this happened to you personally, or were other people in the event talking about it in game chat?

If you - was this event a race (an actual race, not a group ride that some treated as a chance to go off the front)?

Hi Shuji, thank you. It was in an event I was personally in - a group ride called DIRT Family Values ride - not a race. Context I have is the Coffee Stop showed as active for the first 30 minutes, but then gave me the Coffee Stop Unavailable error / greyed out the icon.

Thank you for that detail. Was this the DIRT Family Values ride you did yesterday? It looks like itā€™s set up as a time-based event. You canā€™t take a Coffee stop in the final 15 minutes of a time-based event. If you were trying to use that toward the end of the ride - the cup icon greying out is expected and working correctly.

OR - if you used a Coffee Stop earlier in your session - you wonā€™t be able to use another for 30 minutes. Some more of these expected behaviors are in the Coffee Stop FAQ

Might either of those scenarios explain what you experienced?

Possible that it could have been in the last 15 minutes of the ride, I honestly donā€™t recall - apologies. I do a weekly long distance ride on Saturday mornings (BMTR Flat 100), so will be able to report back then on the Coffee Stops under 1.60.

Almost certainly in the last 15 minutes of the ride. The Club ride was 50 minutes long and from your ride activity it appears you joined around 14 minutes late. After 30 minutes of riding you only had about 6 minutes left of the timed ride.

Updated on AppleTV and coffee works fine. Thanks for the quick fix.
