Click v1, got new battery, see it on controls pairs but no gears or working on zwift
Is the firmware updated?
Which trainer are you using and how are you pairing it? Do you see the gear number on the HUD or is that missing?
Firmway 1.1
Paired, shows controls, no gearing correct
I see the ANT+ light is on, you need to use bluetooth for virtual shifting, are you paired with ANT+?
New battery after it did not work yesterday
what tablet is that? I see the ant+ is lit up on the pairing screen, but it doesn’t look like you are paired using it? I wonder if disabling ant+ would help?
No harm trying, will disable it and revert back
Sorry, where to disable
And Samsung tablet, usung it for over a year
no idea, its your tablet
Seaching, need to unplug the dongle that it links, is that on the trainer as the light flashers on the indoor
no, that would be for a PC, a dongle is a little USB attachment. On a samsung tablet it would be in the system settings to disable it somewhere.
here is what Ai says:
To disable ANT+ on a Samsung tablet, you cannot directly uninstall it as it is a system service, but you can stop it via Settings > Apps. Locate the “ANT+ Plugins Service” and “ANT Radio Service,” then tap “Force Stop” and “Disable”. If these options are grayed out, ensure you are not using fitness apps that require this connection.
Steps to Disable ANT+ Services:
-
Open Settings on your Samsung tablet.
-
Go to Apps or Application Manager.
-
Search for ANT+ Plugins Service.
-
Select it and tap Force Stop, then Disable.
-
Repeat this process for the ANT Radio Service.
Additional Information:
-
Because these are system-level, they might re-enable after a software update or factory reset.
-
If you do not use apps that require ANT+ (like Garmin accessories), leaving it active generally does not affect tablet performance or drain battery.
-
If you are trying to resolve connection issues (like in Zwift), disabling it helps ensure Bluetooth takes precedence.
All sorted, i need to do a upgrade on the Wahoo kicker
The upgrade was to address the virtual gear issue
