Classified as a B in Zwift, but shows up as an A in Zwift Power

Trying to join a ZRL B team, but WTRL won’t let me join.

I am able to join B races… so what is the solution?

I assume you are able to join racing score events which use a different categorization system using 5 starting pens instead of 4, and the racing score ranges vary for many events so there’s not really any such thing as A or B in racing score events because you might be one or the other depending on the event. ZRL is one of the last series that still use the old category system.

If your zFTP or zMAP are over the thresholds for A category in this document, that means you need to race in A for ZRL.

Thanks. Zwift shows me as being in the B pace group, plus I am able to join Zwift races that still have the old category system. And my thresholds are within the B category as indicated by Zwift & WTRL

Try hitting the Refresh Profile link in ZwiftPower. Does that fix it? ZwiftPower is not a valid way to know a rider’s pace group since it is not updated promptly. I’m surprised if ZRL is depending on that…

Edit: also I see you are B for open category events but A for women-only events. I wonder if that’s related to the problem you are seeing?

That has to be the problem. When refreshing the profile in ZwiftPower it still shows me as being in the A category.
