Hi All
I’m wondering why I’m categorized as a pace group D rider in the Companion app and ZwiftPower but I’m consistently recommended for group C races.
I want to join the D group races, but I’m not even allowed.

It is not a bug, the “pace group” isn’t really used anymore and most categories are instead based on the racing score. The pen that you can enter will vary depending on the event.
Hi @Carlos_Barros1.
I’m Haziel from the Zwift Support Team. I want to share that we believe in having the option to challenge yourself by joining a faster subgroup is the best way to improve. The lowest category available at sign-up is usually the most suitable, but if you’re looking for a more challenging environment, we encourage you to explore that option.
Competing with stronger riders is one of the best ways to improve your performance.
We look to avoid patterns that lead to a plateau in your fitness achievements everyone likes to be on the podium, please check the Category Enforcement FAQ for more information.
As Matt mentioned, you can also choose to compete based on your race score if you feel like your current enforcement category might not fit with your goals.
Ride On.
You might wish to read this linked post, in particular the minimum effort section.
Your score & zFTP are quite different.
You haven’t changed your weight or had someone else use your account by any chance?
Edit - Having checked your score is high due to previous expired efforts. You would need to race cone last and drop your score by the looks of it…
