I wonder why so many dont race in their category.
I race in category D, and sometimes up to 80% of registered, are either C og B or even A riders.
It simply affects the race to much for D riders,

I assume you are talking about events using racing score. The legacy categories are irrelevant to their ability to join. They are joining the correct starting pen for their racing score. What you observe is due to the design of racing score, not something the rider is doing wrong. If you are unhappy about how it’s working, there is a topic where you can discuss it:
If only Zwift would have been so smart to completly remove the A through E cats when ZRS went live we would not having these topics and talks all the time.
But hé, better rush and start an incomplete system than wait a few months and actually get it ready …
Would seem this is an effect of gaming. When you play a game a focus on preserving or increasing a score becomes the strategy.
If only everyone on Zwift was focused on increasing their rating for racing (whether that’s the older ones, ZRS, or something else) …
Ah if I understand the point if people raced up cats as the norm? We get called old timers for thinking that way!
