Good question but from my communication with Zwifters in other countries, they havent experienced such problems. Feels like Zwift is burying its head and ignoring us.
Zwift have helped before when issues like this have cropped up, so hopefully they will look into this occurrence as well. I hope they can get it sorted for you folks.
Same issue here. Sitting in Beijing, Zwift not working. Please fix.
Same problem in China. Very similar to the time when it happened last year. I’m connected to the zwift servers in some way because people pop up for a while at the start of the ride but then everyone disappears again. I can still see the chat going on from the other users in game and I can see the segment leaderboards but I see no people and get no draft.
I set up an event in China for today. Unfortunately I couldn’t see any participants and even the event didn’t start when it was time for it. Please resolve the issue otherwise Zwift doesn’t make sense in China anymore for the subscription fee I pay every month. Thanks
Downloaded UU but Zwift is not supported in the list of games .

Thank you for calling this out, everyone. I’ve escalated this at HQ and we’re working on it now.
Edit (22:45 UTC): This should now be improved by some changes our teams have made on the backend. The issue is still under investigation, so please let us know if you continue to see no other Zwifters riding.

After thorough investigation, we have confirmed that the issue of Zwifters in China not being able to see other Zwifters in-game is due to national-level firewalls blocking server nodes. This is not something within Zwift’s control, but we are hoping to find a solution in the future.

Looks like this problem is back. Posted about this is recent game update thread, but thought here would be more specific.
Same issue from 18 months back and same temporary fix (VPN), appears to be addressing it, for now
Having the same issue now. Started for me on Tuesday
Same with me, already told Zwift
the problem is back now~
We investigated it and found out that we received some bad IPs from the cloud provider. We refreshed them, and the problem should be fixed now. Sorry for that. Please let me know if you encounter any more issues.

The problem still persists. It was working fine before the 1.101 update but, since the update, leaderboards populate, but no other Zwifters are shown
Thanks for Juan. Just checked again today, as was riding IRL over the weekend. Tried twice. Just now and 6 hours ago. Issue persists and VPN still required if want to join’ ‘group’ rides
