Hi! - My problem is connecting the controller to the App. All my other devices pair up fine. When I turn on the controllers they show up fine - but I can’t select the controllers (like the rest of the ithem’s). When I push I hear a little “bip”, but it will not connect.
If I turn off the controllers - it show up as “no- connection” - therefore for there is some kind og connection - I can just not select the controllers.
In the Companion App I can select an update the controllers…
Anyone can help?
Which version of Kickr are you using, and is its firmware up to date? Make sure the Kickr is paired over Bluetooth and not ANT+.
ANT+ is a different communications protocol for connecting fitness devices to bike computers, PCs and so forth. It needs a USB dongle adding to a PC usually. If you don’t lnow what it is then you’re likely not using it.
What version of firmware is on your Kickr, and what version of Kickr is it? Only the latest Kickr v6 supports virtual shifting so other versions won’t connect to the controllers due to the lack of VS.
Don’t worry your pairing screen shows you are not using ANT+.
There are 8 models of Wahoo Kickr direct drive trainers, 3 of them support virtual shifting, so 5 are not usable with the Ride. Which model do you have?
Can you see it from this picture - not at home right now.
So it’s a Kickr Move? The good news is that the Kickr Move does support virtual shifting. Likely you just need to update its firmware via the Wahoo app.
I will give it a shoot - thanks for help
