I just received the Zwift Click+Cog(v2). In the box was only a manual for the Zwift Click, not for the Cog. So I installed the Cog like everyone will do with a normal cassette: with a lock ring tool and a bit of force until you feel a bit of resistance.
As the Cog lock ring is made of plastic it broke. Apparently there is a ‘5nm max’ imprint on the lock ring, which is easily missed on the black ring while installing it on a trainer in a dim garage.
This is a bit disapointing as it could be easily prevented by at least the following simple steps:
Colored ‘5nm’ instead of the dark imprint.
Place a manual in the box.
This will help some but will still result in broken lock rings as a lock ring tool simply has a lever that is too big for a plastic ring.
Why not use a metal cog ring as I am used to?

Hi Monica,
Thank you for your reply.
As the ring is already broken the articles you mention are not useful anymore.
From the chat support I’m not getting a response.
