I’m able to connect my C7 to the iOS app on my iPhone but when I go into the ride, the avatar won’t move. Is this a known issue?
Hey everyone !!! After the last update for bowflex it connects to Zwift but I can’t bike due to no data coming in… I had no issues for over a year now. Any idea what it is ? Bowflex is on it but they are pushing the blame.
Same here! Just started the trial period… connected but no movement and the zwift app says connection failure…
Since the bike presumably hasn’t changed, I wonder if pairing it to the QZ app (qzfitness.com) and then pairing QZ to Zwift would get it working. This app is used to facilitate pairing various fitness devices that don’t work directly with Zwift. You’d have to spend a few dollars to find out though.
Mine happened after the last bowflex update.
Did you get your connection fixed ? Mine is still not connected.
Will the bike connect to anything? (not Zwift) Bowflex app, or any other cycling app?
Ya the bike works alone…. Connects to Zwift but no data to move.
I have a Bowflex C7 and have the same issue. I contacted JRNY support and they are aware of the issue. Apparently the bluetooth connections are working correctly, but no data is being sent by bluetooth. I had previously used the Peloton app and tried that and got the same results before I called Bowflex, and was then passed to JRNY support.

While I’m not glad others are having issues, it’s helpful to know I’m not the only one! I haven’t used my C7 in a while so I wasn’t sure which software update might have caused the issue. Sounds like Jrny. I should probably open a ticket too. Thank you!
Open 1 asap… so they can get to work on it knowing more have the issue
I have flagged this up at HQ for investigation. If you have another app that can connect to your BC7, that will help confirm whether the issue is specific to Zwift or not. Additionally, if you have another, non-iOS or tvOS, device that can run Zwift, it would be great to know if this is affecting all platforms or just these two.
I will update the thread as soon as I have more information.
Just piling on here. I use my Bowflex C7 2-3 times a week and have not had an issue. Tonight I had about 90 minutes to get in a good spin and it says it’s connected but no data is going to Zwift. Now I’ve lost over 30 minutes and I think I’m jumping on the eliiptical or the dreaded treadmill. Please fix this!
Hello @Brian_Gagnon , welcome to the forums and thank you for reaching out. It looks like you’re on a mac device, so that is one extra datapoint for us to look at. I do see that you had a successful ride on the BC7 last week on the 1.52.0 live Zwift version. We’ll keep investigating, but you may also want to reach out to Bowflex support since there were no major Zwift changes between last week and today.
JRNY bowflex had an update on Wednesday. Make a claim so they have more pressure to fix the issue. We are all waiting for a fix. We have the same connection issue.
Having same issue with my Bowflex Velacore 16. Jrny Updated last week… the Zwift ride the day before was fine now it connects but no power or cadence shown and no avatar movement. “Connection failure”.
Called bowflex. They seemed to know about the other bike issues but nothing for mine yet. They informed me to contact Zwift as to imply it was zwift’s fault. Pretty sure it’s the bowflex/Jrny update issue now Zwift.
My setup connects bike to the Apple TV (gen 4, Bluetooth 4.0) via Bluetooth. I tried connecting bike to my iPhone with Zwift app as well. Same issue on both.
