After downloading the new update, my computer required a new app. So i started the Zwift app , watopia, cycled some few km and when i choosed setting to turn on some settings as chat on, the whole screen become blurry. I cant Even choose any settings on the menu. I run Zwift on Win10 computer. I would apreciate some help. Everything worked fine before the update
Same for me earlier today when doing stage 2 of TdZ. My wife uses our trainer also and sometimes adjusts the trainer difficulty so when I went to check / adjust to my setting, the blurry screen happened to me also. No big deal but was a bit frustrating at the time.
Also have issue with Settings screen though not the same as @MtQueenX above.
Win10, PC, 1650Super card
Changed to various lower definitions but same result. Functionally, all is working, though have to scroll for other options but presentation side gone a bit wrong. All other sub-menus off “Menu” are fine.
Maybe they’ve rolled it out as a test, given it’s probably the menu least likely to be used on a regular basis. Seems to work fine on my laptop. The title music thing being highlighted all the time is presumably meant to be an Apple TV thing.
Just did a Zwift update on my windows, logged into the TdZ ride and during the event clicked on the settings button, all info vanished from the screen, just can see myself riding but the screen is like the view of a motorist early morning who never demisted the windows. Only option was to force Zwift to close.
Restarted Zwift sat in Watopia looking at a misted screed with no buttons or info available having clicked the settings button.
After going into menu seems only the settings button is having issues all others appear to be ok, also did a fresh install.
Yes, I am having a similar issue but not on my lap top screen, just on the HDMI monitor. I am using Windows 10 and running Zwift in windows mode. If I drag the Zwift blurry window back onto my lap top, then minimize the window, then reopen the window on the laptop the settings box now appears! If I then drag the Zwift window (with settings displayed) back to the larger monitor, the settings window disappears and just the blurry background remains. Strange
I can confirm this.
My desktop computer (Win10) works fine with HDMI to a TV.
My laptop (Win11) with extended display to 2 monitors (one a mirror of the laptop display) using HDMI and a display port has the same problem with displaying the Settings popup on one of the monitors. All other Menu popups work, just Settings does not appear so all I see is the blurred background. An Escape key takes you back.
For me the Settings popup does not appear on the monitor driven from the Display Port which is the same monitor that is mirroring the laptop display.
Both monitors are using conversion cables and are connected to the DVI input.
It depends on which monitor I start Zwift in If started on the monitor that works, it also then works on the other monitor.
Russ, try starting Zwift on your Laptop display (move the first window there before you click the ‘Let’s Go’) then after Zwift is open, move to the other display.
Just posted this in the main update thread but since you are all talking about Settings menu so likely related in the usual Zwift weirdness way. Windowed direct to TV via HDMI…

Windows 10. Everything else on the menu screen works fine (badges, workouts, garage, etc.), but when I click on Settings it shows an out of focus game window but no Settings window.
All - we enabled this new settings screen yesterday for PC users on the server side.
Thanks to your feedback, we’re temporarily rolling back this new settings screen. You should see the old settings screen after you exit the game and log back in. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
