Mine is still not solved could you please help me out?

Thnx tubemate authorityapk

I’m also still experiencing this problem. It seems to occur when something happens to interrupt my BLE connection. On my last 2 rides this has actually been the power cable popping out of the turbo. However, I would have hoped that plugging it back in would allow me to reconnect and carry on… but alas no. Zwift refuses to receive any data.
My Garmin, or Tacx app (on a different device) see and receive data from the turbo so is clearly a Zwift issue. Even force stopping Zwift doesn’t allow me to get a connection again… I seem to have to leave it for a good period of time.
That’s 2 races abandoned in the last 4 days…

HI

I’m also having the same problems as above. With an android device. I set up my Tacx Flux S turbo about 2 weeks ago and have ended up cutting 50% of my workouts short because of bluetooth connection issues. (Not ideal for training). Like above, there’s no issue with the tacx software.

Me too, wahoo hr monitor disconnects and bye bye stats for the rest of my ride. Very disappointing every time it happens.

I’m having this No signal issue as well. It seems to only disconnect after I have let off the pedals while descending a bigger hill. If I stop pedalling and let my avatar cruise down the hill, once it comes to a stop I get the ‘–W’. Still no fixes?

Same problem here. Only occurs when I stop pedaling, never disconnects while I’m pedaling. I emailed the Zwift support team describing this, and they responded saying it’s likely just signal interference from other devices, which I’m pretty sure is not the case.

im also having this problem with my tacx flux smart. very frustrating

Same here, ruined twice today’s training as got disconnect in the middle of it just can’t get any data from my Tacx Flow Smart after that without killing the app and restarting it.
It just toggles between “Connected” and " Connected - No signal".

Tried:

  • Disconnecting/reconnecting the HT from Zwift pairing screen - nil help, Zwift catches HT again, but no data
  • Turning Bluetooth off/on - nil help, Zwift catches HT again, but no data
  • Turning WiFi off/on on phone - nil help, Zwift catches HT again, but no data
  • Restarting home trainer - nil help, Zwift catches HT again, but no data
  • Getting home trainer paired to Android BT then deleting it and reconnecting it from Zwift pairing screen - nil help, Zwift catches HT again, but no data
  • Getting home trainer connected to Tacx calibration app. Tthe app catches the data so I disconnecting the HT from Tacx app and reconnect it from Zwift pairing screen - nil help, Zwift catches HT again, but no data

Only killing Zwift app and restarting it worked, but you lose your ongoing progress…

Very, very, very frustrating.

Hey @Wil_fr, have you checked zwiftalizer.com to see if you are getting signal interference? Here is how you find your log file, make sure to use the one from the ride that had all the issues today. Locating Log Files

Mine (Tacx Flux Smart) has started to disconnect and has become unusable. Some days I’ll get an hour, other days it drops after 10 seconds. Seems to do it with lap top, pc and phone (although I use my laptop the most), also ANT+ and bluetooth seem to suffer the same problem. What I have noticed is that if I’m on ANT+ it quite often reconnects itself (but still unusable as it drops so frequently). If I’m on bluetooth I have to manually unpair and re-pair. When I re-pair the search shows the trainer twice, one with the name “Tacx Fluc 75” and the other “Tacx Flux 14944 75”. The one I had been connected to having “No Signal” against it. I always have to swap to the other to get it to reconnect. It is almost as if the trainer is changing its ID back and forth which is why it is dropping out (but surely it cant be doing that?).

Hi and thanks @Mike_Rowe_PBR.

Analysing the logs it shows stable BTLE and network signals but drops it all of a sudden. After that, although the HT is still showed as connected, no data can get through no matter what you do. I have attached one of the examples I experienced today. If you see anything wrong please tell me, I would more than happy to try to fix what could be wrong!

Run the app at ~3.54pm, meetup started at 4pm, HT dropped by Zwift at ~4.22pm:

I have a 500Mb/s fiber Internet connection. Router is located at 1m from phone, which is connected to it via WiFi, Speedtest gives me a 10ms ping / 204Mb/s download / 221Mb/s upload at that position. Phone is a recent OnePlus working like a charm located at 1m30 from HT module. BT is not used for any other stuff while Zwifting and no other BT signal (with an established connection) is found within 10 meters from the HT setup.

I noticed that I tend to experience these sudden drops when I stop pedalling, like when I reach top after climbing, push the pedals to reach 1.5-2xFTP to get a nice momentum and stop pedalling for the descent. Doing this seems to trigger the drop.

The WiFi route so close, those things can interfere. What channel are you using on the WiFi router, try to get away from band 10.

You can use a WiFi analyzer app to see what wifi channels is being used.

I had thought that my outdoor WiFi access point might have been causing the problem so took the Flux down to the end of the garden and plugged it into the mains electric at the shed. I got an hour yesterday with no drops. Today, with it back on the patio and the outdoor access point turned off it dropped after 24mins.

I’m looking at my log files but not really sure what I’m looking for.

I can even be a neighbor’s WiFi.

There are so many things that can interfere.

I’ve just noticed that the last 10min ride i did after i saw zwiftaliser mentioned (i was wanting to see if a drop happened so i knew where to look in the log, but it didn’t drop) I was getting BTLE message bars that are between 8-10 high (y axis). The ride I did earlier, when it dropped after 24mins, has bar heights of 2, periodically dipping to 1 briefly. Both were with the trainer in the same location, outdoor WiFi access point turned on for both.

this is from the ride that dropped after 24mins

this is the last short ride that didn’t drop

Thanks for this Mark. It looks like @Wil_fr had some very low points as well, so it appears that something is interfering.

Can you move the Bluetooth closer to your trainer?
