I have been using Zwift since the start of the year and loved it!. Unfortunately, for the last month, my avatar isn’t moving when I commence a ride. It is connecting to the power source, cadence and resistance successfully but no luck when my workout starts. I have tried the following but the problem still remains:
•Reset the trainer (Tacx Flux) and reconnected to Bluetooth multiple times.
•Reinstalled Zwift on my device and logged back into my account. Have also logged in using other devices without success
•Changed batteries to all of my sensors (speed etc.)
•Had my trainer checked and all cleared (it’s working on other apps)
This has obviously been very frustrating, so I have currently cancelled my subscription. It expires on August 14 but I would be willing to re-activate it if the problem can be resolved.
Do you see any Watts while you are pedaling, either on the pairing screen or in a free ride? Or does it remain at zero?
You should consider contacting support since they can see all sorts of things in your game logs that the rest of us don’t have easy access to.
When you run Zwift on other devices, or other cycling apps, you do need to make certain that one of those other apps isn’t still running in the background and paired to your trainer. Diverted pairing is a common cause of problems like the one you mention. If any of those apps were run on a mobile device or Apple TV, you would need to force-quit the app, or uninstall it, or power off the device.
Thanks for your response Paul.

I only recently tried connecting on another device and app because it hadn’t been working for so long. I did uninstall the app after doing so. Good advice…
Do you know the Zwift support email? All I could find was the link where you chat to a bit for help.
Thanks again Paul
If you chat with the robot and keep telling it that it’s not helping then eventually it should let you open a support case. You can email support@zwift.com but if you can get past the chat bot that is the recommended way to reach them.
on iOS you will need to give Zwift “location” permissions or something like that in order to use bluetooth, check to make sure your location permissions are allowing Zwift. That should hopefully do the trick,
Hi @Luke_Ivens, welcome to Forums. I’m Juan from Zwift.
I appreciate you reaching out to our community for help. I briefly reviewed your game log and noticed you’ve been having issues with data loss and Bluetooth disruptions with your Tacx Flux. Data loss means Zwift isn’t receiving data from your trainer, which can result in your avatar not moving.
Bluetooth issues can be tricky to diagnose. The most common cause, as mentioned by @Paul_Southworth, is “Diverted Pairing.” This happens when your trainer is connecting to another app or device, like your phone or computer, instead of just Zwift.
I encourage you to take a look at this article to rule out the possible causes you could fit in, there you will find some troubleshooting. Please try to turn off all the devices/apps that you won’t use in a specific session, and try to connect your trainer with the main app to isolate the issue.
If the issue continues, please feel free to reach out to us at support@zwift.com. We’ll be happy to investigate further and assist you.
Did you manage to make any progress? I have had a long hiatus to cycling, and looking at Zwift as a way to get me back into it… Renewed my subscription… and I am dealing with a frozen avatar… Keen to get your thoughts on your progress
Speed sensor stopped working earlier in the week. Changed battery. Not working. Bought new sensor and installed. Connected to Zwift but the avatar still doesn’t move. iPhone updated. Still no movement.
Was on a 34 week usage and was hoping to get to the end of the year [quote=“Luke, post:1, topic:632843, full:true, username:Luke_Ivens”]
