Whether I’m on a pace ride or training workout my avatar stops cycling and I lose w/kg athe same time. Happens at least 2 times per minute. I lose ground or can’t keep to the training plan. Everything else work fine. Is there a fix for this.
Hi @Adrian_Wood welcome to the forums.
Spunds like you might be having signal interference issues. Please list all of your equipment specs. What do you run Zwift on and how are you pairing your trainer, etc… the more details you can provide the better.
Hi @Adrian_Wood
Welcome to the forums. This is Haziel from Zwift. I want to thank you for bringing your concern about your avatar suddenly stopping to our attention. I completely understand how this might affect you.
After looking into your account details, I found that there have been some interruptions with the Bluetooth signal. This could mean that Zwift isn’t receiving all of your data packets through Bluetooth (BLE), anything transmitting on, or interfering with that frequency can also interfere with the BLE signal causing dropouts. To help resolve this issue, I recommend trying the following steps:
- Turn off BLE on your device and then turn it back on.
- Restart Zwift and attempt to pair your device again.
- Disconnect any other BLE devices, such as a mouse, headphones, or keyboards, to minimize potential interference.
I will share this article BLE and ANT+ Interference Troubleshooting Tips which outlines some common reasons for interference and their possible solutions.
Please take a look at this article, and if your issues continue after trying these steps, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Been away all week. I’ve done a few updates and restarted my laptop and is working ok again. Connection all good.
