Sometimes when i’m climbing my avatar stops pedaling. Today in the race also. This takes a very short time. Then i’m pedaling again. This is very annoying.
This usually means your equipment disconnected from the game briefly. If you want advice about it, you will need to share details about the trainer, the device you’re running the game on, and how you are pairing. Also need to make sure you are not running the game on more than one device.
Hello Paul,
Thanks for your answer.
My trainer is the Wahoo kickr core one.
I’m running the game on a Apple laptop and pairing with bluetooth.
I never had problems before. This is sometimes.

Hey Folks,
Alejandra here, from Zwift!
Thank you @Mario_Gijsbers for posting in our forums, and @Paul_Southworth for the great insights!
As Paul mentioned, there are many possible causes for this issue, and the ones he shared are common. No worries—we’re here to assist! I just took a quick look at your account and noticed you’ve been experiencing BLE disconnections while running the app. Check out this article for tips on isolating BLE issues and a list of devices that may cause them.
Additionally, here’s another article with details on why the avatar might not be moving.
If the issue persists, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’ll take a closer look at your account and help troubleshoot further.
Have a great day!
If you’re not able to find a source of BLE interference affecting your connection, you do have the option to run a Bluetooth dongle on a USB extension cable to get it closer to your equipment and away from the WiFi transmitter in the laptop. Household devices that occupy the 2.4GHz frequency can interfere with Bluetooth but getting a dongle close to the trainer can help.

One question: I have linked my wahoo kickr core zwift one via the wahoo fitness app. Is this ok ? or must I use the zwift companion app ?
You probably can’t pair them both at the same time.
The trainer should only be paired to one thing at a time when you’re using Bluetooth. You should disconnect the trainer from the Wahoo app before running Zwift, or delete the Wahoo app while you’re testing to rule out that as a cause.
Hi Paul one question please. I want to use a ant+ dongel to connect my trainer and other devices. I have Zwift play virtual shifting and steering. This is only to connect with BT i know. How can i do this? Zwift play BT connect with Companion app ?
You cannot connect the trainer via ANT+ or virtual shifting will not work. If you take great care you can connect other devices (eg, HRM) via ANT+ but you must ensure that the trainer is always paired via Bluetooth, not just the Play controllers.
