I am running a 3rd generation Apple TV connected to a Sylvania 32" 720p TV. No matter what settings I try on the TV or the Apple box, I am missing a portion of the screen all the way around. For instance, I can’t see the nationality flags on the rider list. I can’t see the full grade stat or the distance remaining. Thoughts/suggestions?
Would switching to a 1080p TV make any difference?
I am not positive on this, but I think you should be okay with the 720p TV, if the settings are correct.
Have you checked the overscan setting? Have you checked to see if your picture setting is on ‘zoom’? There might be some other settings to check, also, but I, not sure.
The TV is an inherited Sylvania LC320SC1. I downloaded the manual and have searched on line regarding overscan, and I don’t think this TV has settings that will help (it only has screen aspect ration options!).
Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention! Jose here from Zwift.
I’m sorry that the Zoom on your device doesn’t allow you to have a better view of the game. What could be happening is that it could be a setting on the TV or on the Apple TV itself, by chance have you already tried these steps on your Apple TV:
Go to Settings on Apple TV.
Go to Accessibility > Zoom and select Zoom to turn the feature on or off.
I hope they help you, you can also see this Apple article for more information.
