On the First Zwift Academy 2020 workout that is designed to deplete your anaerobic capacity before you do your 8 min free ride to see what your aerobic FTP is…I have a Watt Bike atom that runs through an Apple TV box latest generation…the 8 min free ride even with ERG mode on or off it just doesn’t work and I am left spinning with very little resistance either way and cannot use the gears on the wattbike at all…having killed myself to get to this point at the end of the workload it is just so disappointing . Does anyone have an opinion or have they encountered the same issue? Am I doing something wrong? Should I get my Wattbike serviced? Phil

Yes…I did sort it out…there was a Beta firmware update on the Wattbike App but this did not work consistently…in the end it appeared to be the Apple TV box…I also have Zwift installed on another PC which when hooked up worked perfectly in combination with the Wattbike in terms of turning Erg mode on/off…Apple TV box is OK up to a point but it did not appear to be able to work in conjunction with the ERG mode on Zwift in my case and it only supports a limited amount of bluetooth connections and is not so good for messaging etc…
