Zwift shifters not connecting

Both my shifters leds are green, but impossible to get them connected.
Yes firmware updates ok, yes bluetooth is on.

that means they are charged or charging… do you have them plugged into the usb cable?

They should be blue pulsing when ready to connect.

They are indeed charged and still plugged in indeed. I’ve been using them for months without problems…

try a hard reset, hold down the Z power buttons for 30 seconds

Already done that, no success

time to contact support then, seems like they aren’t entering the pairing mode.

This isn’t support? I thought I was contacting them

no this is the user forums, most of us are just regular users like yourself…

Other possibilities:

  1. You have a Ride frame but the trainer does not support virtual shifting.
  2. The trainer needs a firmware update
  3. The trainer is paired via ANT+

You did not mention which trainer you have or which controls you have. Those are important details.

but he did say

Ah, presence of an ANT+ dongle could still be an issue then, if the trainer’s pairing switched from Bluetooth to ANT+

I’m in contact with support, thanks. Not sure what ANT+ is, but nothibg has been changed to my set-up.

I have the zwift frame & hub, worked perfectly until yesterday.

It is another way to transmit the data from trainers and HRM’s to Zwift, it is an older mode originally developed by Garmin I think? You will not need to worry about it, you need to use bluetooth for your setup.

I have been in contact with support who promptly replied and have meanwhile send out replacement handlebars. Great service
