Hi @Leigh_Howard, welcome to Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.
Let’s dive in and explore some tips to get everything running smoothly again.
Zwift may occasionally face issues when multiple devices, such as heart rate monitors or cadence sensors, attempt to connect simultaneously. To avoid connection problems, ensure that no other apps, like your trainer’s, are running in the background and inadvertently taking over the connection.
Try this sequence:
Completely close Zwift.
Turn on your trainer and let it fully boot.
Open Zwift and pair the trainer first (controllable, power, and cadence).
Then pair your HR monitor last.
JetBlack frequently releases firmware updates to improve connectivity. Check the JetBlack App to see if an update is available.
If you’re on Bluetooth, try switching to ANT+ (if available) or vice versa. Sometimes one works more reliably than the other.
If it still happens, a full trainer reset (unplugging for 5 minutes) can sometimes help, and reset game preferences.
