Zwift Ride Controllers Not Recognised

Just unboxed Zwift bike with Wahoo Kickr Core. Set up went well until connecting bike to Zwift app. Kickr Core connected fine but controllers not identified in app ‘paired devices’ but no issue with Zwift companion. When connecting to app controller Zwift button is steady blue and cannot get controllers into pairing mode … Zwift button flashing blue. There is clearly a step that I have missed out or misunderstood. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

You need to update the firmware on the trainer via the Wahoo app, in order to make it support virtual shifting. The controllers won’t pair until you do that.

Thanks Steve. I did update the Kickr firmware via the Wahoo app before connecting to Zwift.

Any chance you have an ANT+ transmitter in your system running Zwift? If so, remove or disable it and test again.
