Zwift racing score question

Hi all

Recently my zrs went up to 350. So I was forced up a category into 350-520 one, (in the crit racing club series) - fair enough.

Predictably it didn’t go too well and I lost a few points putting me back at 347.

Zwift now won’t let me enter the lower category, it’s still forcing me into the 350-520 one again.

Any reason why?

Thanks

I suspect because it’s putting riders in pens based on their max ZRS over the last 30 days.

ETA: if you look at the signup page for the next event it shows that it’s doing exactly that. :+1:

Hi, apologies, I’m not a super expert, where I can find my ZXRS? Actully I was moved to category 2 (former B) though definitely I’m not at that level. Any way to ask to be moved down?

You can find your ZRS on your Zwift Companion App, your ZwiftPower account, on your Profile when in game or through your Zwift account Zwift.com

Your category (pace group) is C for any races using the old Category Enforcement system.

Under the newer ZRS system your ZRS score has just fallen and you should find you are now generally in the third pen from the top in most ZRS races.

Zwift uses two standard ranges for their Zracing and if your score goes above 390 (which it recently was) you need to be careful to ensure you enter the Range 2 events otherwise you would find yourself in the 2nd from top pen, as happened to you in your last 2 races.

CATEGORY RANGE 1 = 0-159 | 160-269 | 270-389 | 390-509 | 510-649
CATEGORY RANGE 2 = 0-209 | 210-329 | 330-449 | 450-569 | 570-724

or if there is no Advanced category the category/pen range is generally

0-180
180-350
350-520
520-690
690-1000
