Zwift plays issues after latest update (unable to link) Solved

I tried the following with 5 devices 2 iOS and 3 Android

Reset controllers switch on updating device with only that device switched on and try to link controllers once I got the error message I switched off that device and tried another resetting controllers each time.

I repeated the process 5 times for each with exactly the same result I had contacted Zwift Support prior to this final attempt to get the controllers to link after being unsuccessful they have agreed to send me V2 controllers.

Thank you Mike! I tried yesterday but failed… then “forget” the controllers BT connexions and then…not able to get them linked anymore on the app: I’m crying. But! It was on an “old” iPhone: iOS 15.8.8/Companion 3.68.3. I just try and succeed with a newer iPhone (and lastest version 3.83 of Companion): controllers appeared on the app and the link was available (and successful indeed); I’m not crying anymore. Nonetheless, the controllers do not appear on my phone but never mind, I think I’ll zap the next update anyway.

I experienced a different issue on updating. My left controller went solid orange light and froze. Companion app couldn’t find it. Right controller worked fine, connected fine. Not only that, left unit would not power off, nor would it reset. No matter what I did, the power light stayed on solid orange. Plug it in, don’t plug it in, press 30 seconds, press a minute, same result. Got on with support and stumped the bot, got a nice human (Elial) and he is sending me clicks v2. So maybe if you like your plays and they are working fine hold off on the update for a bit…
