Zwift PC app won’t start

Hi.

I installed Zwift on a new laptop, but the app won’t start. I’ve unstalled it according to the steps found in Zwift support, and reinstalled it again. No change. The same issue continues.

Issue: I klick on «let’s go», then a short flash of the blue «Z» apears shortly, then it’s gone and the app shuts down after a few seconds.

I’ve got the latest update (1.1.14).

Any idea how to fix this?

Longshot: I still have Zwift installed on my old computer too, is that an issue that might affect this problem?

If it’s not running on your old computer, that should not have any effect on the game running on a second computer.

Can you share details about the laptop? If there’s a model ID printed on a sticker on the bottom, what is that?

Or you can contact support and send them a log file if you want them to look at it.

Thank you for helping out Paul.
The PC is a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15Q8X10. I think it should be ok for Zwift.

That has a Snapdragon processor, doesn’t it?

Snapdragon PCs aren’t currently supported by Zwift, sorry. That’s your problem.

Thank you Steve.
It seems like it does.
Wow.. I didn’t know I had to be that detailed when buying a PC to use for Swift..

Thank you

There are some guidelines for PC hardware here:

However there are many other factors that affect both performance and the graphics quality you see, so if you end up shopping for a machine to run Zwift, I recommend asking here before buying. There are so many PC variants it’s hard to cover all the options without a much more detailed support document.

Awesome help, thank you.

I returned the PC, showed them the spec requirements and ended up with another PC and one hour on Zwift today. All good.

It was a processor issue in this case.

Thansk again to all tips. Really awesome.
