Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue when trying to start the Zwift app on my PC. The application does not launch properly and either crashes immediately or fails to start at all.
When I try to run Zwift, I sometimes get an error message mentioning ZwiftApp.exe and an exception code 0xc0000005. The program version also shows as 0.0.0.0 in the error details.
I’ve already tried basic troubleshooting steps like restarting the PC and reinstalling the app, but the issue still persists.
Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what could be causing this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

When you did the re-installation, did you go through this process to clean up all of its data?
Can you share details about the PC hardware specs?

Same issue for me. this issue appears with the last update of Zwift app and i never encountered this kind of issue since 2020. it’s the first time i have issue with Zwift
i already tried to restart my PC, clean data, reinstall Zwift, update all my drivers of my PC but the issue is still there
Same here. Last update breaks Zwift
after the update my app does not start after i press lets go it crashes
Have the same problem after updating yesterday. I press Lets Go on Launch App and nothing happends

I can’t replicate this on my PC so I don’t have a solution for you. I suggest contacting support (all of you).
same as Paul, my PC is fine (both my main Zwift rig and my cheap laptop both run the new update without issue). Both on windows 11.
I have the same issue, launcher appears, disappears when I click “let’s go” and then… nothing.
It’s really frustrating.
I already uninstalled twice, cleared cache, reset the launcher, rebooted etc.
I think if everyone in this thread who is having issues launching the game could list their full PC specs, that would help narrow down to what the issue is. Simply saying my PC won’t run Zwift isn’t going to lead us to any clues as to why only some systems are being effected.

Try running the zwiftapp without the launcher by renaming the launcher exe. Then click the zwift app and it will use its built in login system. That will show ifs its a launcher issue or zwiftapp problem.
I’m detailing everything so we are all on the same page and to be sure I didn’t mess it up.
So, in “Program x 86=> Zwift” I renamed “ZwiftLauncher” and clicked “ZwiftApp”
I then have an Error Message : “Could not run Update process. Zwift may not be up to date.”

There are some more steps than uninstalling from the uninstaller:
You should then be able to move past that.
It seems I got the same problem. Tried everything written here (& I’m contact with support since yesterday…).
What do you mean by “…move past that…”? After that error msg there is nothing to move on 
Not sure if I rebooted after deleting all the files. I try again now.
