Zwift Launcher v 1.1.15 for Windows / Mac [February 2026]

The Zwift Launcher app version 1.1.15 for macOS and Windows is available.

Windows

  • Reduces errors during game installation and updates.
  • Reduces errors during game initialization related to cloud-syncing apps like OneDrive.

UPDATE February 24
This change will be rolled out in phases over the next month.

  • On Windows only, Zwift files will be written to a new folder location when using Launcher v 1.1.15 and game version 1.107+. Note: You’ll need to right-click and select “Exit” from the Z icon in the notification area (aka Windows system tray) before the files will write to the new location.

  • Zwift files will be written to C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Zwift\ and not to \Documents\Zwift.

  • Optional: Zwifters may delete the deprecated \Zwift subfolder in \Documents.

macOS

  • Fixes a crash when Zwifters change language preference in the logged-out state.

Launcher v 1.1.15 can be manually downloaded from zwift.com/downloads.
In the upcoming weeks, we will enable an automatic update to Launcher v 1.1.15 for Windows and Mac users.

UPDATE March 24
The new folder location is enabled for all Windows users of Launcher 1.1.15+ and game version 1.107+.

Hi Shuji,

Does this address the Zwift boot up issue currently faced on this thread, ie. Windows 10/11 issue?

Thanks.

Please can you make the Mac version not reliant on having Rosetta installed. The Zwift launcher is the only software I use that includes Intel code.

UPDATE February 12
Mac users: we’ve uploaded an updated Mac build that improves performance to Download Zwift on iOS, MAC, PC, or Android Devices | Zwift.

@KevinL
Thanks for the feedback on the installer. We’re looking into an elegant way to handle that for all the Macs out in the world.

@Patrick_AsC-Primarch
The Launcher does not address that. We’re still looking into that.

Apple today reminded developers that Tahoe will be the last release of macOS that will support Rosetta 2, so you’d better have this done by September!

Thanks Kevin - it’s on our list and will definitely happen before Apple’s deadline.

We want to call attention to this update that will be phased out to PCs over the next several weeks.

I see currently AppData/Local/Zwift already exists with a launcher subdirectory. Will the contents from Documents/Zwift just be moved to the AppData/Local/Zwift directory or will there be changes to the file/directory structure as well?

I’m asking this because I’m running zwift on linux in wine in a podman container, so I have to prepare for this change and make sure the right files and directories are mounted to the right spot in the container.

Thanks for being open about this!

Hey Glenn - I’ll DM you some specifics and we can work through your setup if needed (and I can help).

Euh? Est ce censé régler les problèmes de lancement évoqués précédemment ? J’ai testé et ça ne change rien !

Hi @Nicolas_Rondeau - what issues are you having? I’m not seeing any Launcher issues on your account, and most of your recent sessions are on Android which this thread wouldn’t apply to.

If you provide some more details, I’m happy to help out.

Bonjour,

Hey @Nicolas_Rondeau - I just caught up on your support case. Did you try the workaround provided here in this forum post: Workaround for Windows 10 System Freeze [February 2026]

This forum post has a link to a version of launcher with a workaround, please let me know if that helps.

Bonjour,

J’ai suivi vos instructions. Ça ne fonctionne toujours pas (cf photo jointe - écran bloqué).

Cordialement,

Nicolas Rondeau
