Internal Server Error usually means a problem on the other side, not the client. Even so, I would do a clean re-install of the game as something you can try. For example if the launcher is out of date, that would fix it.
It self resolved seconds before race start.

Yeah probably an error on the other end, nothing to do with you. That is a web server error.
