Zwift Hub + Zwift Ride Smart frame

Dear zwift community,

I recently bought the zwift bike frame … and I am supper excited to start cycling again.

However, I am having issues with the set-up…

I have the zwift hub since 2022, and I found it easy to install my road bike frame on it.

However, I am not able to put my new zwift bike frame correctly. Can someone please help me and explain me in layman terms - I am very bad at mechanics etc :see_no_evil_monkey::joy: - please explain which items go on which side (left / right) and in which order. See attached a picture with the pieces that I have.

Thanks in advance, it would be very helpful!!

Ps I reached out to zwift support, but it didn’t work. Their suggested solution included: “step 2 - remove the rear wheel from your zwift bike frame” :joy: ( no kidding)

It looks like you don’t have the Zwift Cog fully installed on the trainer. See the guide linked below. Once that is done, you need to screw the silver thru-axle adapter onto the right side of the trainer. The black/green adapter slides into the left side of the trainer. The Ride frame is a 142mm thru-axle design which means the green part of the adapter should not be visible once installed - that should be the side that goes into the trainer.

Solved: apparently you don’t need anything, just the thru axle and you need to tighten it well.

Thanks Paul.

So I just did this. It seems to work fine - green/black on the left. And now I connected the cog fully (added the wide metal piece before connecting the cog).

However, when I stop pedaling, and pedal backwards, the chain falls off. Am I missing anything.

Is the Cog rubbing on the frame?

Or is the chainring on the bike bent?
