Hi, weird issue the past couple rides, I’ll be riding fine then suddenly my watts decline drastically and my resistance goes up crazily and no matter how hard I pedal I can’t even break like 90 watts whereas before that I’ll be fine at like 250. It’s still getting Bluetooth readings.
I got a screen shot of what it looks like.
Basically it happened without any hill or anything like that and I unplugged my Hub power and plugged it back in and it was better. This is the second time it’s happened this week during a ride though and it isn’t an option to keep having to unplug and plug it in to reset it during races obviously.
My Hub is quite hot during usage but I’ve only had it for 5 months or less now.
Any ideas?
Edit: I just did the L’Etape du Tour Prologue now and it happened twice more. Both times after I reset it the power meter/resistance comes back online registering at a MUCH higher rate than before it went out.
Only idea I have is the thing is doing a regular calibration or something and then when I reset it it comes back at a higher level somehow?
Pretty sure there many faulty things going on here.
I am having the same issue, except it is constant in sim mode. Workout mode, both with ERG on and off, is fine; however, any time I ride in sim mode, my trainer responds incorrectly whenever there’s a change in grade. Each time the grade increases, the trainer resistance decreases, even if I cycle through a series of gear shifts. The resistance often catches up, until there’s another change in grade. It’s maddening. Has anyone experiencing this found a resolution yet? Zwift support has been unable to help (they just send me articles that I’ve already read; I’m beginning to think that I’ve been dealing with AI rather than live technicians). Thanks-

Same here! I guess no update on this yet?
I’ve heard nothing so far, but I’ll definitely chime in if I do.

Thanks! Hopefully gets sorted soon
I may have solved the problem, based on a Zwift forum suggestion I read yesterday: this morning I unplugged my trainer (Kickr Core) from the power strip I’d been using and instead plugged it directly into the wall outlet, and the problem disappeared! I’m hoping this is a permanent fix! Best of luck, if you haven’t already solved your issue.
