I have Zwift Hub + Cog + Click on my road bike set up. Last ride (couple days ago) everything worked fine and haven’t had issues to this point. Today I’m trying to shift with the click and there is either no change to resistance or very little - I shifted up to gear 24 and can’t get out of Z2. I haven’t changed any settings (virtual shifting is on) and my devices are up to date along with my software. I’m running the latest MacOS release.
Checked other forum threads and cannot find solutions related to this.
Thank you for posting! I am Nelson from Zwift Support.
I reviewed your account and found brief but continuous Bluetooth disconnections from your Zwift Click. Please note that the usual cause for Bluetooth dropouts is wireless signal interference. Check out this article for tips on how to prevent this from occurring.
Do not hesitate to contact us at Zwift Support if you keep experiencing disconnections after trying the steps in the article, and we will be there for you.
I suddenly have the same issue on my Elite Suito + Zwift cog v1 setup. It was working okay till today, when i can ride almost normally in 24th gear, almost as gear base range is way to low. For example, in gear 12 i can almost free spin. Can you check maybe if you see any problem? I never had this issue before and I have same setup for some time now. Only thing i did differently today i tried to switch to different gear ratio in zwift settings and adjust trainer difficulty. Since then I resetted everyting back, but I just can’t fix it.
So it’s still not fixed, same thing as @TT_V4 is reporting. I rode again this evening and I’m in gear 20 just to pedal into zone 2.
Seems similar to another recent post as well that I’m unable to post the link to.
Something is up. I’m not feeling any change in resistance in free ride mode (grade changes do not elicit any change in resistance). And shifting takes me to gear 20+ to even to replicate zone 2.
I’ve been having similar issues recently with the Zwift Hub and Play controllers. I never had a problem until about a month ago or so. Now, when I start a ride, the resistance is super low and virtual shifting barely does anything until I shift to a very high gear and then the resistance becomes super strong. If I back it off, it’ll go back to almost no resistance. It takes about a minute or so of doing this until it finally normalizes. Also, the gear ratios seem to have changed around that time. I used to ride in gear 14 for zone 2 on the flats, but now that happens in gear 12.
Like I said before, the resistance has been rock solid for years until this started happening recently.
