Zwift froze when in the pairing screen before WTRL TTT

Last night I was in the pen before the WTRL Team Time Trial. With a 2 minute delay in our start time, we hit A so that we could spin until our official start time. When it was time to leave the pairing screen, I hit ESC and the color wheel was just spinning. The countdown clock on the screen completely stopped. I just waited hoping the app would reconnect but it didn’t. I missed the race completely. I am using a MacBook. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can work around this issue. I do not have problems in any other events. Just the ones with the delayed start. Not sure if I just need to hit the OK button instead of ESC. This has happened two weeks in a row. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest not hitting esc use the onscreen buttons. Also I would just not go to the pairing screen, just sit still, you can pedal backwards.

same happened to me on Mac OS about 4 weeks ago

A teammate had the same happen tonight on MacOS

Its like russian roulette in the pen on MacOS … i guess the answer is no pairing screen waiting on Mac for now.

Zwift please help us Mac WTRL’ers!!!
