Hi Rob,
No problem - yes same issues unfortunately, I have tried absolutely everything to get it to work.
I’m currently speaking with someone on the Zwift team and have sent over my crash logs, so hopefully they can diagnose my problem.

Ross & ROb, I appreciate you guys posting this. I was having Bluetooth issues with my 11 year old MacBook Pro so I decided to upgrade to a new PC laptop. It has Windows 10. My keep getting the same thing you both did, freezing mid ride. I tried to go through and troubleshoot like you posted. The only thing I haven’t done is uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics card as Rob suggested. This is really frustrating. I think Zwift should fix this compatibility issue with Windows 10. Is there a good contact you have at Zwift to escalate this to?
Matt
Having similar issues since the last Zwift update. I’ve just moved to a new pc as I try to troubleshoot the previous one. The app freezing does look graphics related so I’ll check that route first.
Odd that this has started since the last Zwift update.
Hi,
I’m having the same issues in the last few weeks with Zwift crashing mid or just after a group ride. I have been running zwift fine on my less than 6 months old Windows 10 PC and the crashing has occurred since the last update I feel (but can’t be sure).
I make sure nothing else is running on the PC and restart it before a session to clear the memory down. I’m going to uninstall Zwift and reinstall this morning and try a group ride again.
Just as an aside, I did leave the crashed (not responding) laptop and Zwift running and it finally caught up after about 15min and I was able to close my ride down.
I used another laptop today that has never had Zwift or any other Cycling apps on it. It was strictly used for MS Office apps.
I had a perfect Zwift experience today. No faulty visuals on screen, no freezing, graphics looked great!! Today was a 100k ride so 3 hours with no issues.
The reason I believe it’s a graphics driver issue is the shakes that I see in the onscreen riders and scenery. This happens for a while before a freeze, if I get a freeze on that ride.
Also, the more times Zwift freezes, the more often it happens. Sort of a downward spiral at that point.
I will troubleshoot the old setup at some point but the behaviour today leads me to believe that a full rebuild of the old setup would be prudent.
Hi Marc, have you checked the error log through windows to see what its saying during the freeze period?
Rob
Yea sounds like graphics for sure if your seeing shakes mid ride, could also be CPU/Ram related if the pc s struggling to process the game efficiently.
Got this nice crash 1min into a TTT event today

That is not bad. Thanks @Thomas_Ervik_DIRT_Wo.
It’s not bad, but didn’t help me tonight. It’s very frustrating and it made the race harder for the 7 other team members.
I agree it is no fun when that happen.
Did you check your crash logs
I had that happen because of bad Nvidia drivers. I had to uninstall all Nvidia drivers and re install.
no new info in Reliability view. First appcrash in a long time.
GeForce GTX 1060 6GB with latest drivers, windows 10 with all updates.
Had a 30min Warmup in zwift… no issues.
16 days ago I posed that life was good on a complete wipeout and reinstall of Windows 10 and Zwift.
The new setup on the new laptop with only Zwift on it started freezing again today.
Last week I had 6 crashes of Zwift with total freezing.
For me it started to occur since the new update. Therefore I never had a freeze…
It mostly happens during group rides… Really frustrating
Hello everyone!
Any updates with this problem? I don’t know what to do…
Thanks,
Fabio
Whats the issue you are facing? Windows? Have you got a log?
I started having an issue about 2 weeks ago.
Usually after about 1 hour of riding, I would suddenly lose my Ant + connection.
I was able to go to the pairing screen and reconnect my devices using Blue tooth.
Not sure what the issue is.
Update here on December 19th.
For the last 18 days the original laptop I was having issues with was rebuilt with the default Windows 10 install. Everything went well until the 18th, with no crashes, when I installed 2 graphics driver updates, consecutively, suggested by the Dell Support Assist app.
I did these installs consecutively, which is never a good idea. Before each install I created a restore point. I have done a restore to the second of the 2 graphics driver installs. I’ll now test on this first driver update and see what happens.
I’ll post the details of the model and it’s parts shortly.
