Zwift Companion v3.78 [February 2026]

Phased rollout of Zwift Companion version 3.78 has begun to iOS and Android devices.

Android and iOS

  • You can now see the completion status of each stage in Tour de Zwift 2026, making it easier to track your progress through the event.

iOS only

  • Fixed an iOS crash that could occur when checking for firmware updates, improving device update reliability.
  • Fixed a bug on iOS where challenge detail backgrounds could display incorrectly, so artwork now appears as intended.
  • Corrected the aspect ratio of challenge carousel images and logos on iOS so they no longer appear stretched or squashed.
  • Fixed an issue on iOS where challenge cards could sometimes disappear from the Home screen.
  • Made stability improvements on iOS to reduce app terminations that increased after recent Tour de Zwift updates.

Really like the ZCA, its becoming more and more useful all round.

Does the ZCA have the grunt to be able to start taking some of info from your main screen as an option into the Game>Map HUD to be able to leave only the graphics on the TV/Monitor?

Would be great to be able to separate the pure graphics on the 4K 48” TV from all the text but still have all the info available on the tablet size screen.

Of course if you allowed the ZCA to run in landscape, all those text fields could be shifted into the Map screen in the App as they are.

A lot of the data when you are riding is already available on the CA.
One thing you won’t get it is gradient, though. That’s been a long standing request.

Just allow the ZCA to run in landscape instead of portrait and have all of the those come across from the main screen at the press of a button. They can either be main screen or in the ZCA.

I’m using a Samsung A8 tablet to run the ZCA during the rides, its plenty big enough screen wise to have all of that info come across and be displayed.

Potentially its also advantageous for the GPU in terns of frame rates, only Zwift can answer that.

I also like the ZCA

My biggest irritation with it is not being able to send messages when in the Map view.

The map view is useful for Ride ons and triggering power ups etc but you can’t message.

If you briefly tap the rider instead of a hold to sent out a ride on it comes up with that option ?

Yes its easier to tap the message tab at the top. Sending messages in Z1 and Z2 is okay, sending while in Z3 and 4 forget it.

I use talk to text for messaging.

I’m impressed you can still talk in Zone 4 ?

iPhone users will notice an update available in the app store.

Why only TdZ, why can’t we track the other running challenges or really all of our progress and stats in the companion…..

@shooj

Bug in companion app when doing a workout.. If you change the bias setting say down from 100% to 95% thats fine it shows on companion app and in zwift.

Exit the companion app, and restart it, workout bias setting is back at 100% but still showing 95% in zwift. Screenshots attached showing this.

Yesterday I finished the route “Three Step Sisters” - I would have expected this information in the Compatibility App today.

I don’t disagree with you but I wonder whether you have noticed that none (that I have found so far) of the event only routes show the badge completed in the Companion App.

There appears to be a number of “event only” routes that do have badges available, but you can never see what these are or if you’ve completed before. Be handy if both the companion app and zwift app could show these and if completed
