Does this have any changes for those of us on The Dark Side? You know, the Droids they can’t find…

Hi @shooj I am using the companion app v3.69.1 (Android). Since the last update, the number of messages from friends that used to be displayed in my activity has disappeared. This update did not improve the situation. Are there plans to fix this in the future? Thank you

As of yesterday 4/29/25, Zwift Companion will not connect to my MacPro like it always has for years. This is a day after the last iOS, MacOS update. I have done all the standard stuff, reboot both devices, made sure they are on the same WiFi network, rebooted the router, etc. Checked network access settings on both devices and neither the companion is listed nor zwift for Mac is listed, so I can’t give permission for lan access. Even deleted and reinstalled zwift Companion to no avail.

@shooj - I’m on 3.69.1 and had weird behavior where companion app was showing my position in-game but I couldn’t use any devices connected through bluetooth bridge or give ride-ons.

Re-starting companion fixed it, including immediate re-connection of Play Controllers. I believe it was my Monday night ride, I can pull logs if it’s interesting.

There is a problem that arrived with macOS Sonoma, and the workaround is to download the Zwift installer on the Mac and run it again. It should prompt for Local Network access which is required for Companion to connect to it.

Thank you. Problem solved as you have stated. I did everything else yesterday except reinstalling the Zwift app on MacOS. Go figure. Note, it was MacOS Sequoia 15.4.1 update from a couple of days ago that caused the problem.

Why have you forced the first letter of every word to be a capital letter, and the remaining to always be lower case? It seems to be for all page headers.
When you go to a rider profile their name becomes the page header. Similar for event listings.
It looks odd, and you lose the meaning of acronyms and initialisations.

I’m back to not getting event notifications, even with companion open in the background. Previously the issue mainly happened when force closing it. I have not changed any of those settings and I just confirmed my default notification setting is at 1 hour.

The camera view list still closes when you choose a view. This is appropriate behavior for the emote menu but continues to be a poor choice for the camera menu.

I think it is a good feature.
Choose the view you want and no need to close the options after that.

What is wrong and painful though is the fact that every time you start, you have to select your preferred camera choice.
Why can’t it just stay on the last setting?

You start the game, you have to select your camera.

You view a friend, go back to your avatar and then have to reselect the camera.

Awkward, stupid, clumsy and painful.

Since the request is about the latest version of Companion, I crosspost here : Companion Buttons Order

:+1: there should be filters that let you pull up all the people following you whom you don’t follow, and all the people you follow who don’t follow you

No filters, just a list of followers and following
