Companion Buttons Order

Hi,

Since the latest update of the Game, Companion is displaying two new buttons to manage the laps/splits (Zwift Game v1.90 [May 2025])

Unfortunalety, when we are on a “changing direction” segment, the buttons allowing to choose which direction to go are displayed after the split buttons, which means, on smaller screen, some directions are not accessible directly and need to swipe right to reach it.

Since we already have a short amount of time to choose which direction we want to go, having to make multiple actions on the Companion app increase the risk of missing the turn, either by misclicking while swiping or just having not enough time to push the right button.

So my question is: is it possible to put the direction buttons at index 1 to 2 (or 3 depending on the number of choices), instead of index 3 to 4 (or 5), with STOP being index 0?
Or, probably even better, putting the direction buttons in their own temporary row, above the main buttons row, removing all risk of misclick?

Good idea. Although I like the split feature, it is not high on my list of most-used buttons in Companion. It seems like when a new feature is released it often takes over some prime UI real estate even if it’s not really necessary, like My List taking over the Activities button which I use far more.

I think there was another thread on here about letting users rearrange the buttons in the ZC app to suit their preferences, which seems like a great idea.

Let us hide that MASSIVE stop button too while we’re at it.

What’s more fun than being mid-event and a drip of sweat getting on your phone and ending your ride before you even know what’s going on?
