Zwift Companion - Game Mode

Hi,

Today during a workout my “Game mode” encountered problems after 30min.

Nothing was changing anymore on the screen (map). When I restarted the companion app several times, game mode switches on very time but was useless. Also on the zwifft screen I could see that the companion app not connected (no phone icon).

Anybody else with this problem ?

Was your phone losing it’s wifi connection? This would cause the symptoms you are describing.

No Wifi was fine (there is an access point at 4m) and spotify was encountering no issues. All other apps on phone were also functioning.

I think, when the problem is wifi related, the app wouldn’t go in game mode almost immediately after every restart.
