I just installed the zwift Cog and V2 shifters. Everything seems to pair up just fine as far as the accessory buttons go but there is no shifting. I have Reloaded The firmware on everything. The plus minus buttons talk about a binding setting which is described nowhere. I’m old and stupid and I need a simple explanation to get the shifting working
I have a Samsung Android phone running the companion app and I have a higher-end kicker core Trainer. And an Acer laptop
Are you able to share a screenshot of your pairing screen?
Do you see a gear indicator on the game screen?
Can you confirm your trainer model by looking at the white label on the trainer and looking it up on this page?

As @Paul_Southworth mentioned, check the in-game HUD to see if there is a gear displayed (it should probably show ‘Gear 8’ at when you start. If not, check the game settings to be ensure that virtual shifting is turned on.
also make sure you are using bluetooth, if you have an ANT+ dongle, remove it.

Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I peeked at your server logs for clues and it looks like you may have a KICKR v5, not one of the KICKR CORE variants? As Paul recommended, please verify which model it is using Wahoo’s instructions
The KICKR v5 doesn’t have enough memory on board to run firmware that supports virtual shifting. With the v5, you will have to use a cassette cluster on the trainer and shift your derailleur to change resistance. Please contact my Support Team colleagues if you’re still in the return window on your Zwift Click and Cog purchase.
There is an app that can let your v5 work with virtual shifting called QZ.
