I’ve had great results with the Zwift click with my Hub One trainer… until recently: randomly, but with increasing frequency, a single click will rapidly change gears up to max or down to minimum… this can be a drag when trying hang with a group in a race!
Is there a fix for this, or do I need to replace the device?
Thanks.
Hi @Jonathan_Poor.
Welcome to the forums. This is Haziel from Zwift. I want to thank you for bringing up your concern about the Zwift Click suddenly changing gears from 1 to 24. I completely understand how this might affect you.
After looking into your account details, I found that there have been some interruptions with the Bluetooth signal. This could mean that Zwift isn’t receiving all of your data packets through Bluetooth (BLE), anything transmitting on, or interfering with that frequency can also interfere with the BLE signal causing dropouts. To help resolve this issue, I recommend trying the following steps:
- Turn off BLE on your device and then turn it back on.
- Restart Zwift and attempt to pair your device again.
- Disconnect any other BLE devices, such as a mouse, headphones, or keyboards, to minimize potential interference.
I will share this article BLE and ANT+ Interference Troubleshooting Tips which outlines some common reasons for interference and their possible solutions.
Also please check the placement of the Zwift Click on your handlebars. If it’s not securely mounted, accidental clicks might occur.
Please take a look at this article, and if your issues continue after trying these steps, don’t hesitate to contact us.
