Zwift Click doesn't connect

Hi,

Bought a zwift click and installed it to the gear a month ago but when I tried to connect it to my PC I couldn’t find the device.

Here’s what I’ve done for troubleshooting:

  1. All firmwares are up to date and connected via Bluetooth—wahoo kickr V6, zwift app, zwift click;

  2. Zwift click can be found when only using mobile companion app, but disappeared when using companion as a bridge to PC.

  3. Zwift Play connects fine no matter connecting directly to PC or using companion as a bridge.

  4. No “virtual shifting” shown in the panel—have been trying to fix this by restarting and reconnecting wahoo several times but still no success.

Can anyone share your insights on how to solve this problem…?

Thanks.

Hi @AJ_PEACOCK, welcome to the Forums! My name’s Oscar, working with Zwift.

I appreciate the detailed information you shared and your effort when trying to self-solve this issue, I understand how important it is for you to have this sorted out so you can use the Zwift Click without dropping out.

I checked your account and I was able to see several connectivity alerts and BLE issues. I’d like to ask you to reset your game preferences. Forgetting preferences and known devices will refresh the relationship between Zwift and the devices that can pair with Zwift.

For steps on completing the preference reset, check out this article. Once you’ve done that, please try to follow the steps below to troubleshoot BLE or check this article:

  1. Confirm if you’re connected to Zwift with BLE or ANT+
  2. Confirm you have the correct option selected for using Built-in Bluetooth, or Zwift Companion from the nut icon in the PAIRED DEVICES screen.
  3. Turn off BLE on your device and then turn it back on again.
  4. Restart Zwift and try pairing again.
  5. If BLE isn’t working, and an ANT+ dongle is installed, try removing the ANT+ dongle to simplify the configuration.

Please give this a try and if persists, contact us directly and we’ll provide one-on-one support.

Best,

THANK-YOU. Deleting these two files fixed my issue I think… I can at least see the Click now!

Yep. I’m having the same issue. It had connected when I used it the first few times but now it just appears to be dead and i just replaced the battery to eliminate that possibility. I will try the preferences reset and see if that does anything

It’s not well advertised but I had to return my Zwift click because it only works on the new version six trainer and none of the older ones

Hi @Oscar.R thanks for you support here.

I have just installed the new cog and click.

Althought I can connect my click on the ipad and change the power level while I am riding on a custom workout I am not able to change the gear and not even see the “gear” tab on the upper left side of the screen.

What could be happening?

I am riding with a Wahoo Kickr.

Thanks in advanced

Hi @Joao_Sa.

Welcome to the Forums! I’m Haziel from Zwift, and I truly appreciate your enthusiasm for Zwift. It’s great to see your eagerness to dive into the virtual shifting experience.

I took some time to review your account, and I noticed that the firmware of your trainer is aligned with the Wahoo Kickr V4. I completely understand how important it is for you to enjoy all the features Zwift has to offer. Please keep in mind that while your trainer can connect to Zwift for unlocking virtual shifting, it requires a Wahoo KICKR v6 that is compatible with this feature. I recommend checking out the article on Zwift Ready Trainers for more details.

I hope this helps clarify your concerns. If you have any further questions or need assistance adjusting your setup for a smoother experience, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [Support@zwift.com](mailto: Support@zwift.com). We’re here to help and support you.
