Zwift Click connection issues

Hi,
Ive had a click which was bought with the Kickr core 1 hub bundle. ive used it a handful of times and it has not worked for a full ride yet.
I am getting constant drop outs and after a while it just disappears all together. i am waiting for Zwift support to get in touch but wondered if anyone has experience of this that could help.
Running Window Zwift only PC over bluetooth. All latest updates are done. I tried pairing through the phone but my wifi doesn’t appear to be strong enough to keep a constant connection and dropped out everything.

Ive not been able to complete any event properly to date and his making my zwifting experience horrendously frustrating. Never had major issue with the platform until i bought this.

Any help would be good.

Thanks

Hi @Clement_Chan, welcome to the Forums! I’m Juan from the Zwift Support team.

Thanks for sharing your concern here. I understand how important it is to maintain a reliable connection with your Zwift Click.

To address pairing issues, I recommend checking for Bluetooth interference in your setup. For troubleshooting Bluetooth scenarios, please click on this link: Bluetooth Troubleshooting Guide.

Additionally, could you confirm the brand and model of your trainer? This will help us assess compatibility.

Please keep us posted either here or at support@zwift.com for personalized assistance.

Hi , the zwift app can pair my trainer , HRM and cadence sensor. the zwift click also can pair the zwift Companion app and do the firmware update .

Hello @Clement_Chan

Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I’m scanning your server log history and I’m seeing a Wahoo KICKR on firmware version 3.3.61. Looking at Wahoo’s firrmware release note history, that appears to be a KICKR v3 (2017), is that correct?

Wahoo has confirmed that KICKR version 6 (and future generations) can support virtual shifting. In your case, the Click does not appear in the Pairing menu because the trainer doesn’t support virtual shifting.

If you’d like to return the Zwift Click, please get in touch with our colleagues..
