Still crashing. The 3R super sprint race just imploded. Prior to the last two days, the app had never crashed, but 3 of 5 events I’ve entered in the last 2 days have crashed. Two right at the start, and one event about an hour in.

Weird. Could it be just 3R races (or how they’re set up or otherwise organized)?

Happened to me on two 3R races, today and Friday. Looking at the signups vs finishers for recent 3R events it seems like a lot of races are affected. On ZP, clicking LIVE for most of the events shows riders stopped at about 0.1-0.2km (even well after the event should have finished).

I dunno. 3R seems to run the most events. For what it’s worth, in the past many have criticized Zwift for it’s glacial rate of change and lack of urgency with respect to racing. However, recently there has been a lot of “tweaking” to the race format as well as a rushed exploit patch. We may be witnessing the results of this haste.

I had the issue twice since the last update. I am running Zwift on Windows 11 Home. Hardware is Intel Core I7 Gaming PC with a GeForce GTX 1660 Super.
Both events were created by me in order to ride a specific route. I was the only person in that events. After 4 or 5 kilometers the App suddenly crashed. Never had that before.

With 10 miles left on stage 2 of ToW the app crashed. It to me 15 attempts to login and when I was able to get in I was kicked out of ToW. What a bunch of crap!!! My Companion has 15 entries all within 1 minute of each other with 22.7m complete. I’m tried and kissed off.
I had a crash during TOW stage 2 at the 1 PM CST (US) on the B Route, 3 flat loops.
Had just gone under the arch.
Didn’t think much of it but now that others have reported this, and near this location, I thought I would add.
I’m on Windows 10, i3 7100 laptop , integrated graphics Ant + to trainer.
I thought it was user error cause I was eating pizza and the crash occurred when I set the pizza down to grab my coke and I thought I hit the power button. - that’s what happens when you fail to plan for lunch.
I love Zwift.
I can never eat pizza and ride IRL!!

Zwift Support isn’t working (I can not submit an email) and no one answers the “chat” - so I cant even let them know that they are crashing in-event! Zwift - what is wrong with you???

Terrible after the Update on both my Mac and PC.
18:05 3R Watopia Flat Route Reverse Race A group
Everyone got kicked out after passing under the first banner.
I was running MacBook.
18:45 Crit City Race -A group
Changed over to PC windows10.
At the start I was teleporting across the map then I settled in about 20sec ahead of everyone. I waited up and raced to the end.
I cross the finishline 3rd but the race didn’t end for me.
Zwiftpower initially listed the 8 unfiltered finishers. Then I disappeared completely.

Given how this is acting like a total collapse now with whole race groups crashing, I suspect they’ve broken their net code, and that has a cascading effect on various client accounts.
At this point I’d recommend a complete roleback to pre update versions.
I also wouldn’t exclude the servers being hacked, or corrupted by a virus. This literally sounds like multiple organe failure.

Update: I checked on Zwift power, all users were kicked after the first sprint finish.

I did a bit of dig into these reports and I have found loads of races that have the same issue (majority of users getting dumped). My list is 10 events (I could easily have found more I suspect but got bored) where I have identified where the issue manifests itself (riders pass banners and get dumped) I correlated the dumped riders against those that didnt get dumped via CA etc. All those I documented are 3R but I saw evidence that its not just their races, just that others I lost track of or are smaller fields where the evidence wasnt as conclusive.
Who wants my list to pass to devs/techs?
