Zwift App Connection Issue

I use Apple TV to run Zwift; however, my Zwift Companion app on my android phone doesn’t connect to the game.

I assume both should be on the same network since I use the router to wireless connect to both.

Could it be a port issue or something else?

Also, I believe this prevents me from pairing devices to my Zwift companion app.

A few things you can look into:

  1. Restart the router, the phone, and the Apple TV
  2. Eliminate any wireless repeaters or mesh network devices if you can
  3. If the Apple TV is near the router and has an Ethernet jack, connect it with a cable instead of WiFi
  4. Make sure the devices are both on the same WiFi band. This should not matter but occasionally it does. If you are using the same WiFi network name for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, you may be able to name them differently to force both devices onto the same band. This would be done in the router configuration.
