I have had Tacx Flux 2 for several years with no issues or changes in the Laptop.
When I load up, it is reported as connected, as indicated on the front screen. When I go to start pedalling, there is no matchup on the screen, and the person on the screen does not move; there is no power input in Watts.
I have turned Zwift on/off, and reinstalled It; however, there is still no response. Any ideas?
Turn off Zwift and test it in the Tacx app so you can understand if the trainer works at all. And of course unplug the trainer and turn it back on again.
Shuji at Zwift HQ here.I looked at your server logs and the usual suspects for the avatar not moving don’t apply to you: you have an active subscription, your power, resistance, and cadence signals from the trainer appear to be bonding correctly.
Please do try connecting the trainer to the Tacx Training app and see if the trainer works in Garmin’s own app. If no - you should be aware that your Flux 2 is using firmware version 3.3.40, which 1) is quite old and 2) had reported issues when it came out. It is possible that Garmin has released newer firmware that fixes this, so please check for newer firmware in the Tacx app.
Interesting, because I have the same issue. I haven’t yet looked into it which i will do this evening… but it worked ok before the Zwift updated itself…. coincidence? who knows. I’ll check FW etc tonight and report back
