On Events on the Companion App, I could see Race 2 in Zwift Academy at 5.30. We are now on DST time. Does that make a difference. Shouldn’t as it’s the computer’s time.BUT the key issue is that the event was not on the main screen nor would it load on the Companion App presumably because it could not be linked to the screen.
I recently reloaded Zwift on my PC, have used it once for a successful ride, so the latest version is on my PC
Can you email me the answer please
Hi @Joc_O welcome to Zwift forums.
Let me repeat back how I’m reading your question:
1. I signed up for a race using the Zwift Companion app.
2. I log in to the main Zwift app and that event is not appearing on the Home Screen. Why not?
If I understood you correctly - the Home Screen is designed to show you activities to do in the next hour. If your race is further off in the distance, it won’t show up until it’s 60 minutes before start time.
The Companion app is useful to find routes, events, and workouts you’d like to do in the future, and queue them up in a feature we introduced over the summer called My List.
Hope that helps! If not - please elaborate on your workflow, or upload a screenshot so we can see what you’re seeing on your end.

You almost got it.
I found Zwift Academy Race 2 on the Companion App within one hour of the starting time.
The Companion App said ‘GOING”
The Companion App did not open up the Map. I could not ride it on the App.
The Home Screen did not have it on at all.
Here is what it still looks like now (as you suggested) but note at 5.30 this morning the Companion App showed an event and the same occurred.
The time is now 7.24pm.
On the Companion App there is a Race 2 event at 7.30pm.
Why is it not showing on the main Home screen please?
What do I do to fix this please?
I need to ride Race 2 in order to complete Zwift Academy.
Thanks for your help

Hello Shuji Via Zwift Forums
Not sure how it worked. I got in via the Companion App at 7.30 pm tonight. It was not showing again on the Home screen.
I signed up on the Companion App. Waited until it said GOING. Closed the App. Closed Zwift on my PC. Opened it up and the PC loaded the Race (cannot remember exactly at what stage) and I pushed the START session button and all is well.
Thanks for replying though.
I did play the Bluetooth this evening too. May have been some connection issue even though I never normally adjust this.
John
I’m glad it worked, thanks for looping back.
If you’re logged in to the main Zwift app at the time you sign up for an event on the Companion app - that would be the reason you saw your symptoms. You must log out of the main app and log back in in order to see the event on the Home Screen.
