Over the last couple of days (I am thining since the 5th or 6th), I have noticed that my XP, drops and bike mileage are not saving. I have reached out to Zwift support about this and was told it had been escalated. However, that was three days ago and I have not heard anything since.
I have not been using Zwift at the same time on different devices as has been mentioned before. Anyone else having issues with this right now? I am wanting to get it fixed because of all the drop farming opps. I pretty much have left about 2 million drops on the table (not to mention the XP and bike mileage) and it is starting to really upset me.
The issue isn’t so much using Zwift on multiple devices at the same time, it’s using Zwift on a second, or third, device without having logged out of Zwift on all of the other devices first. This seems to be most common with phones and tablets, as people swipe the Zwift app into the background thinking it logs them out, which it does not.
So, while ‘best practice’ would be to only install Zwift on one device (and still be sure to log out after each session), it should be ok (technically speaking) to have Zwift on multiple devices, as long as you are careful to log out after every session (and, preferably, also force quit the app, just to be sure).
So if you have Zwift on a tablet or phone, you might want to check them to see if Zwift is still ‘running’ in the background.
Yeah, I’ve read about this. But I know for sure this is not the case as I know I only have it open on one device (Apple TV) while running the companion app on my phone. Any other device that has Zwift installed on it isn’t even turned on.
And, I do “exit” out of the app on Apple TV after each ride (and turn off the Apple TV).
Plus, all of my rides show up in my activity feed in the companion app
My guess is about 6 hours on Stoneway Sprint, I’m able to pull 300,000 drops per hour there without any real effort (other than not losing what is left of my mind going round-and-round all the time)
Even with ATV you should still force quit the app after every use. Though, based on what you’ve said, it does sound possible that you’ve received a shadow ban.
you would need to contact support, you should’ve gotten an email from them about it already however if you were banned for some reason. The most common one seems to be using bad or offensive language in chat.
