A new interface navigation issue appeared in v1.101. When starting a workout, the usual screen pops up to select the route you want to use. But when pressing the world (for example watopia), the submenu to select a watopia route is not entered. Instead the selection jumps to the suggested route in that world at the top (the routes above the list of worlds). After a few attempts it usually works to get into the route list for the world. I am using zwift ride controllers.
On what sort of device are you using Zwift? I haven’t seen this issue on my iPad at all.

Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I have some clarifying questions.
- What happens when you use your PC’s touchpad or mouse to navigate the game menus instead of the Ride controllers?
- If you reboot your PC - does this get resolved?
- Can you screenshot where you’re given the suggested route and not the one you chose?
- At any point after you select a route, do you see a side view of a road that looks like this?
@shooj I wanted to make a video screenshot of the issue, but of course while I was capturing the screen the issue did not happen. Yesterday it was bad enough that I eventually did the Ultimate Warm Up on While Lotta Lava since I could not get the Watopia route list to open, today everything worked as expected. I’ll still try to answer your questions.

Since the issue would not reproduce today, I could not try if using the touchpad made a difference.

I could not get to reproduce the issue just now, I’m not sure it has anything to do with rebooting, I would expect not.

This is the route selection dialog where the issue happens. It starts out looking like this, with the first route highlighted. I move the selection down to a world, for example Watopia by pressing the down arrow on the left ride controller until the highlighting is moved to Watopia. When Watopia is selected and I press A, I expect the list of Watopia routes to be opened. Instead the selection jumps up to the Watopia route in the these are some of our favorites list. What would happen in this example is I press the down arrow 4 times, Watopia becomes highlighted. Then I press A and instead of opening the list of Watopia routes, Flat Route becomes highlighted.

No, the route is only selected in the ui (selection highlight jumps to the route), it is not actually loaded/started. To start the route I still need to press A myself.

This side view is generally associated with someone who is not paying for a membership but trying to use the old free monthly 25km. There is no longer any free 25km each month.
Are you paying to cycle and is running working for you?
Thanks for the reply Ian, that explains it. I use zwift occasionally, I try runnig next time.
